Fiddlehead Mittens These super-popular mittens are back by popular demand! Learn two-color knitting techniques and make these amazingly warm and beautiful mittens, fully lined with a mohair and silk yarn for an extra special touch.

Child Size Socks They are the project that you see all the “experienced” knitters making and wish you could too. Well, sign-up for the class and you can! The only “experience” you need is the ability to knit and purl, and the know-how to do simple decreases (k2tog and ssk). The rest, you’ll learn in class, including working with double point needles. The sock you will make in this one-session class will fit a toddler to small child, but the technique is the same for adult sized ones.!

Akoya Sweater This beautiful sweater will be knit using sport or DK weight yarn for a lovely, wear with everything, spring sweater. The pattern is sized for petite to plus size and everything in-between, so join in and knit something pretty for yourself this year! You’ll be expected to have the ribbing done before the first class, so stop in soon to pick out your yarn and get casting-on!

Quick-knit Baby Sweater This cute sweater will be knit using the wonderfully soft and washable(!) Malabrigo Rios (or any other worsted yarn). It’s top-down, which means no seams! Plus, you’ll learn a few great techniques like short-rows for the V-neck. Don’t be afraid...just trust the instructions and do what they say.

Granny Squares OK, who doesn’t love to see colorful, quintessential, ever-popular Granny Squares. Now you can learn to make three different styles AND learn how to connect them into a project of your choice. Our resident crochet guru, Deb will teach a class one Saturday a month for three months with a different granny square pattern each time. The first month will be a “basic” square like the one shown. Subsequent months will be different patterns and techniques. Come for one class or all three. Make as many squares as you want and at the 4th class, she’ll teach you how to assemble them into a pillow, blanket or scarf (or something else, depending on how many squares you’ve finished)
Classes will be held the 3rd Saturday of February, March, April & May.
